Define the installation scope
The project scope needs to cover the compressor’s location, delivery and positioning, connections to the air system and the electrical work required. Associated dryers, filters and air receivers should be included where they form part of the installation.
For replacement work, identify removal of the old equipment and any changes to existing connections. Relocation needs to account for disconnection, moving the equipment and reconnection at the proposed location. Commissioning and handover arrangements belong in the project scope.
State whether the compressor has been purchased, selected or remains to be specified. Equipment choice and site suitability may still need assessment before the installation requirements can be settled.
Equipment, demand and site information
Include the details you already hold:
- The site postcode and type of commercial premises.
- The intended use of the compressed air supply.
- The proposed compressor make and model, if selected.
- Documented pressure and air demand requirements.
- The proposed location and known delivery or access restrictions.
- Existing pipework, electrical arrangements and associated equipment.
- Your project date and available shutdown window.
If the project follows a change in production or equipment use, describe that change. Mark specifications that remain unknown or need professional assessment. Don’t investigate electrical or pressure equipment to complete the form.
Coordinate project dependencies
Timing may depend on equipment delivery, a building handover or other work at the premises. Identify work already arranged, decisions still outstanding and whether the existing air supply must remain available during part of the project.
Mention any specifications, site plans or equipment documents available. Describe them briefly rather than copying lengthy or confidential material into your enquiry.
Discuss your installation project
Outline the equipment, site requirements and preferred timing through the contact form. Say which parts of the installation, replacement or relocation you need to discuss.
